CTDLC Presidents' Breakfast
DATA CHANGES EVERYTHING Featured Speaker: Dr. Ellen Wagner (Bio) The CTDLC cordially invites Presidents and Chief Academic Officers to join us on October 1, 2010 for our third annual Presidents' Breakfast. Dr. Ellen Wagner is Executive Director of the WICHE Cooperative for Educational Technologies. Dr. Wagner's breadth of experience in public and private higher education, familiarity with the international educational landscape, and her work in the educational corporate space provide a unique lens through which to understand today's rapidly evolving educational challenges. She will focus on how higher educational institutions can use data and analytics to adapt and succeed in this time of considerable economic constraints, growing competition, increasing regulation and scrutiny by the government and accrediting agencies, and continually evolving technological demands and challenges. The Presidents' Breakfast is sponsored by Desire2Learn Incorporated.
Dr. Wagner was a tenured Professor and Chair of the Educational Technology program at the University of Northern Colorado, and held a number of administrative posts, including Director of the Western Institute for Distance Education and Coordinator of Campus Instructional and Research Technologies, Academic Affairs. Subsequently, she served as the Chief Learning Officer and Director of Education for Viviance new education, a Swiss-based elearning company. She then served as the Senior Director of educational product development at Macromedia Inc, and then assumed a similar role at Adobe Systems, Inc. She is also a founding partner of Sage Road Consulting whose mission is to “help organizations achieve success with market-specific solutions for Education and Learning. |
