Description: This course examines the fundamentals of financial accounting, as well as the identification, measurement, and reporting of the financial effects of economic events on enterprises. Special emphasis is placed on financial statement preparation and analysis.
This course is designed as a prerequisite to MGT 602: Advanced Managerial Accounting and Finance.

Prerequisites: Acceptance and enrollment in the New Dimensions program of Albertus Magnus College.
