Description: The goal of this course is to prepare students to take, and pass, a Federal Communications Commission examination for an entry-level (“Technician”) class Amateur Radio license. The topics are covered to the level of detail that is needed to correctly answer those exam questions. The American Radio Relay League publication “Now You''re Talking!” is included. Individually assigned online mentors assist students as they advance toward successfully completing the course. An online graduate support group is also included with course registration.

Note that classes are continuously open for registration. Classes run for 8 weeks and the course material is available 7/24. Students are individually assigned to a mentor with whom they communicate via email. The required text is included in the registration fee, and will be shipped in time for the class start date.
