Logging In

In your browser, type your school's WebCT server address in the address/location bar.

The WebCT welcome window appears. Click Log on to myWebCT.

Username/Password

Enter your username and password, and then click OK.

**Note: the username and password are case sensitive.

My WebCT Page

This window will display all the courses that you are enrolled in. It will also display any course or system announcements, as well as bookmarks or favorites. To enter a course, click on the course title (WebCT 3 Practice Course).

If no courses appear, click Add Course, locate the name of your course within a category, click the course name or the + sign to add the course. You will be asked to login again.

The Online Classroom

Once inside the online classroom, you will see a menu on the left and the main content window on the right.

Communication Tools

Email:

By clicking on the Email link in the left hand menu, you will access your mailbox. To create an email message, click on the Compose Mail Message link.

Discussions:

By clicking on the Discussions link in the left hand menu, you will access the discussion board for the course. Click on a Topic to read the messages contained within. To create a new message, click the Compose Message link.
