Regulatory and Accreditation Information

WCET released a " Starter List" of State Approval Regulations.

This is part of the work that the CTDLC is following to keep you informed about the new regulatory and accreditation issues that impact online learning. These include state approval of out-of-state providers, academic integrity, authentication, and last day of attendance. The most up-to-date information on all of these issues can be found on the WCET website under Advance. CTDLC will continue to monitor all of these issues and alert you to important updates.

Congratulations to Manchester Community College

Congratulations to Manchester Community College which has been selected to participate in NCAT's "Changing the Equation" program, focused on redesigning remedial/developmental math. Supported by a grant from the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation, the program is designed to improve student learning outcomes while reducing costs for the student and the institution.

CT Virtual Learning Center Helps Schools Meet State Mandate

CT Virtual Learning Center's high quality online credit recovery and AP courses can help CT's schools meet the requirements of the state's recent High School reform act. PA-10-111 requires schools in CT to implement online learning options for their students, including providing all high school students with opportunities to take advanced placement courses and providing students at any school with a dropout rate of 8% or greater online options for credit recovery.
