Lisa Tassinari is currently an Instructional Designer at the Connecticut Distance Learning Consortium as a member of a small but mighty team. At the CTDLC, she uses instructional design, project management, and media skills to develop engaging online training and academic courses for clients.
Prior to that, she was an Instructional Designer in the Office of eLearning at the University of New Haven, and before that was an Instructional Technologist in the Faculty Center for Learning Development at the University of Hartford.
She received her M.S. in Instructional Technology from the University of Hartford and her B.S. in Education from CCSU. She has been in a teaching, and training and development role throughout her career in K-12, corporate training, and higher education. During her career, she was instrumental in developing and delivering a 7-week training program for faculty preparing to teach online, designing and developing courses for online delivery, and designing and delivering seminars about online teaching and learning.
Lisa's research interest is focused on the point of intersection between the science of learning and instructional design where exemplary courses emerge.
